This weekend, I sat in a CEO’s living room and we built an entirely new platform for his industry. From idea to launch in a single afternoon.
There are already players in his space, but he saw an opening for something better. Together, we turned his vision into reality—fast.
Here’s how we did it:
1. Idea dump – Whiteboard session on the market, opportunity, and features.
2. Competitor review – Listed competitors and asked ChatGPT if we missed any (we had).
3. Competitor research – Found a Zoom demo video of the closest competitor.
4. Transcript + notes – Uploaded video to Loom for transcription.
5. Reverse engineering – Split video into screenshots, fed them into ChatGPT for a Product Requirements Document (PRD).
6. Building better – Used Figma Make and Lovable.dev to redesign improved screens.
7. Our PRD – Exported new screens, asked ChatGPT to create a PRD from them.
8. Gap analysis – Compared both PRDs, had ChatGPT highlight missing features.
9. Vibe coding – Connected our UI to Supabase/Firestore for real functionality.
10. Launch – Pushed to GitHub, brought in backend dev for setup, connected domain, Stripe, and authentication.
By the end of the day, we weren’t just looking at mockups, we had a live platform with payments ready.
This is the new pace of building. What used to take months now takes hours.
Stay tuned and I’ll share how it performs post launch.
